BBQ Contest

Barbecue is growing more popular in the Northeast. The proof is in the numbers – more teams are competing and festival attendance grows every year. Last year 60 teams fired up their cookers and the crowd grew to over 6,000. This year’s goal is for 60 teams to pit their barbecue skills against some sharp competition for bragging rights and a portion of the prize money. Limiting to 60 teams will mean a better contest atmosphere so we can take care of contestants. Our event is a NY State Championship. For detailed information, download the Cooks Info Sheet.

Empire State Barbecue Championship

Thanks to the unprecedented cooperation between competitions in New York State, the Hudson Valley Ribfest is proud to be a member of the Empire State Barbecue Championship.
